I know most of you are tickled pink that you’re children are back in school, but I’m sure you feel like some shady thief has siphoned every dime of your hard earned money. According to research by the National Federation, approximately 68% of parents say that kids will influence at least half of back-to-school spending this year.
Of course teenagers want to look their best, particularly teenage girls. What’s interesting is retailers are aggressively using the Internet and television to target and appeal to teens. Since you’re reading this blog, more than likely you have a teenage daughter who just might wear a size 10 or 11 shoe. Not only is she concerned about her clothes, but it’s also important that she finds cute, trendy shoes in her size.
Since I’m not a mother of a teenage girl, I miss out on all the joys of discussing clothing choices, hairstyle choices, boys, etc. In my opinion, I think moms don’t take enough time to make sure their daughters are dressed appropriately.
