There are lots of ways to make Valentine’s Day special. Thinking about Valentine’s Day conjures up chocolate candy, red roses, romantic getaways for couples etc.…For some singles, Valentine’s Day is known as the dreaded “V” day. Of course, it doesn’t have to be.
Here are 7 ways to survive Valentine’s Day, if you’re still unattached:1.
DO treat yourself to a gorgoues pair of
new shoes by
Sesto Muecci or
Stuart Weitzman or Lumiani. By the way, If you wear size 15 Lumiani has you covered.
2.
DO order your favorite bouquet of flowers and have them delivered to your home or on your job.
3.
DO sprint to your favorite local drugstore the day after “V” day to buy all the chocolates you can hold at half price. Please, do not go overboard. You still want to look your best.
4.
DO snuggle up with a good book that you’ve been meaning to read.
5.
DO rent a comedy or two that will have you rolling on the floor laughing. Stay away from anything sad or couple oriented.
6.
DO volunteer to do something nice for other people that need to feel loved-even if you feel nobody will ever love you.
7.
DO take off from work and treat yourself to a relaxing, rejuvenating day at the spa.
8.
DO keep in mind it’s truly better to be single on Valentine’s Day than to be in a miserable relationship with a man that clearly isn’t worth you or your time.
I hope these 8 tips will help you, not only survive Valentine’s Day, but actually feel good about your current situation.
If you're one of those women who feel as if the Right Man keeps passing you by, you’ll never experience true happiness or real love, remember when you were little and learned this song at church,“Jesus loves me this I know…?” Well, if no one else does, trust me…He does.
